Hello! It's been a long while, and while unfortunately I have no update at the moment I wanted to come in and give an update on what I've been up to! I made the last update in a rush, and while I wish I could say it was for some explicable reason, there really wasn't any. I really just wanted to update! As usual do not be surprised if some chapters receive re-writes, at this point it is part of my process. But currently I've had some life things hit me hard, and a medical emergency regarding my partner that's left us both in a sort of dreamlike shock. All I can ask for at this time is your patience, as I return back to normal, and regain my desire to write.

Hello! Sorry to come out of the blue, but I've decided its way past time to update the site, and have dropped off the new chapters 12-16! This update is a little different, and doesn't include a "chapter piece" as I've named them- you should be able to tell what those are by now. But that should be coming out along with the next chapters, I hope they do not take as long as these ones have! Once again, terribly sorry to have taken so long! Hello! you may have noticed by now chapters 12-15 have gone down, and that is intentional as I have taken them down to prepare for the next update! Plans have changed since the last update (in my usual fashion) and I am no longer happy with the chapters I had up. It might come as no surprise, but I am writing with no feedback from much of anyone (besides my beloved boyfriend reading snippets I send to him) so catching issues with the flow of the chapters is rather difficult. Nonetheless I aim to create a cohesive and engaging story for you all, and that includes having to take steps back and scratch things I might have originally been fine with.

I aim to have an update out soon, so that I am not leaving the empty space the scrapped chapters have left, but since I have been rather busy I cannot give a specific timeframe and I honestly would like to keep it that way. I am doing my best not to settle for sub-par work and trying to get out updates as fast as possible really affects the quality, so I would like to finish by saying thank you for your patience and understanding, and for reading!

Hello friends! Coming in with a small notice: It has been a while, but the site will not be updated until after new years, so unfortunately no holiday update this time around. I will tell you of my plans, though!

In the next upcoming update, I plan to have at most 5 new chapters, with chapters 12, 13, and 15 rewritten on top of those new chapters. Chapters 10 and 14 may also be updated to reflect the changes. I alluded to the potential rewriting of chapters in my last update, and I'm most certainly going through with my decision. The new chapters this time around will be mainly sun themed, as I work to tie off this set of moon chapters. I'm excited about what I've been working on in the shadows, and I hope you enjoy the story I'm doing my best to create!

Theres other things I have been considering adding to the site, but those will not be mentioned unless I commit to their inclusion- I don't want to add too much in the way of the actual writing. But perhaps, in the future there may be more released in addition to the main story.

That's about all I wanted to say this time around, you may see a few chapters updated only to fix typos or faulty html while i get it ready for it's next big update. In the meantime, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and have a happy new year!

Happy Halloween! As a birthday present to myself, I’ve updated the site! This time around it’s a much smaller update than the last one, but to be fair, last update was a complete revamp.

In this update, I’ve added 5 new chapters, as well as added a ‘Previous Chapter’ option on every chapter so that if you missed something, you don’t have to go to the chapter list.

The chapters this time around were actually very hard to write, and I’ll admit I might go back to them in the future, but for now I’m content with them, and I can move onto the next set of chapters!

There are things in the future I would like to do, such as character pages or something similar like such. I have been asked previously about if I plan to add a gallery to the site (as I am, in fact, and artist! and I do make TLTS art!) and I’m very wary about such, since I made their descriptions vague for a reason, and plus I would not consider my interpretations to be… I guess what people would expect. Oh well!

SURPRISE! It’s been quite a while, hasn’t it? You might have noticed by now the BIG changes I’ve made to the site, and I’m glad to say I’ve been working in the shadows on a complete overhaul of TLTS- this includes:

• Brand new icons and backgrounds drawn by yours truly! You already know how this works, so I don’t think I need to explain much more. I do hope they’re decent enough, while also not being too distracting.
• Total rewrites of all chapters that have been previously published! If you think you’ve read everything there is- no you haven’t. Go check.
• 3 NEW CHAPTERS! (technically 2 new chapters, I actually split the old chapter 2 into… Well, 2 different chapters for better pacing. Remember when I said I could never get chapter 2 like how I wanted?)
Other quality of life things have been edited too, such as making the text larger for easier reading, and fixing the thing where the font would show up on some pages, and not work the others.

Something I have done is take away the guestbook. While it was nice while it lasted, there wasn’t really any purpose for it. I hope this will also declutter the navigation.

Another thing I’ve done that while doesn’t really need to be added to this update, I at least want to explain the punctuation style. I was aiming to use the American standard punctuation style, but funny enough I found I greatly prefer British style. I hope this kinda clears up why everything. Y’know. Looks like that.

That should be everything! You might notice me editing anything while this update is just made live, since the html editor I use doesn’t exactly translate to neocities well- which in turn causes a LOT of mojibake that I can’t catch during editing offline.

Hello, its been a while! Around the time I released my last update regarding when a new chapter was going to be posted- a lot of things happened. I won't get into details, but things got more and more hectic and reached its peak when I lost my lifelong cat. I had to switch medications and its been difficult ever since. I'm sorry to leave for so long with no updates regarding what has been going on, as I'm not sure when I'll get back to writing new chapters. No, I'm not giving up on TLTS- I don't think I could ever. But, consider it on a hiatus of sorts, while I get myself out of this hole I've found myself in. You can find me on my Tumblr Blog where I'm most active, The next time I update this log hopefully will be around the same time I add new chapters to the story. Long time no see! If you're wondering- No, I haven't abandoned you. My new job has taken a huge toll on my mental health and I find that my time is often taken up before I can even think about writing anything let alone a chapter. However, despite such I do have the rough for the next chapter started! I want to try to release 2 chapters at once just to make up for lost time. I have a loose idea of what I'm gonna do and I'm pretty excited to get to writing! I can't guarantee a release date, but I should have something by the end of the month or the beginning of the next. Once more, many thanks for everyone's patience and Happy Earth Day!

Hey! I want to apologize for the silence after so long, I recently started a new job and have been SUPER busy with training for it as well as other things including commissions and whatnot. While I haven't been writing as of recently I do plan to have the next chapter out sometime this month, but when that'll be exactly isn't clear to me. Reminder that the guestbook exists and I do enjoy feedback on my work! I'm not sure if it's a good guestbook to use though so if you don't want to send anything there, you can send an ask on my tumblr blog too! Hi! A little update to the site, but I've added a guestbook! I've been seeing a lot of other sites using one and while, this isn't really a personal blog, but I think it would be nice to allow people a place to leave feedback, or just say they were here as I'm noticing a huge bump in unique views (if you're a returning reader thank you!) not to claim i've been counting though. . . Hey! it’s been a week with no updates but I am here to say chapter 8 is here! This chapter was a little difficult to write only because I’ve never written a chapter like this one before. It’s nothing special but it’s just different for me is all. This update also includes a fix to the header link to home that brings you to the first chapter instead of the actual home. I don’t know why I did this. It is a complete mystery. I would like to mention that I’ll be caught up with writing commissions in the meantime so updates will be rather slow!

Hello! Finally the 7th chapter is out, and it’s rather long compared to the last chapter. I also fixed a few things including:

• Mojibake in chapter 5 as well as the next chapter link still saying coming soon(oops)
• Added chapter 7 to the chapter list!
• Previous touchups
I know I said I would have the first chapters change theme this time around, but I've been terribly busy and I might not get to it until next update (whenever that will be) but updates will be much longer in between due to more life stuff happening (ew) so I wanna end on saying thank you for being patient and thank you for reading! Hello again! Sorry to keep you waiting- I've done some edits to the site so that the theme matches the POV of the chapter you’re reading (I only have this set up for B/CF and D/C the first two chapters will have unique styles in the next update). This is something i wanted to do since I set up the site and The chapter list and home will match the theme of the newest chapter! Speaking of which, chapter 6 has been released! It's a short sweet(?) chapter, but expect a more meaty chapter to come soon (hopefully). Some edits just include one line in chapter 5 that was changed but all in all everything is the same as it's been. I will note that you should expect some chapters to be completely rewritten in the comming months as some of them were written all the way back in 2019-2020 so I want to update them (i can never seem to write chapter 2 how i want it to be). Anyways, thank you for reading and please have a good start of spring!

Hi! I meant to have the next chapter out by now, however I haven’t began writing due to a lot of life situations. Luckily- I just got medications to help with my depression and mood disregulation, so I’m super hopeful to have a new chapter out soon! Thank you for bearing with me and being patient. Hi! Thank you for checking out my project. If you had browsed earlier you would have seen quite the mess. I'm brand new to coding let alone html/css so I was encountering problems left and right. But chapter 5 is finally up and running (no more mojibake wahoo!)
Chapter 6 is on it’s way and my hope is to get it up by next week, but I do want to dedicate more time to writing drafts since I was a little rushed with chapter 5. Anyways, please take care and have a good week!
